جعجع استبعد زيارة الرئيس الحريري الى دمشق قبل تشكيل الحكومة

استبعد رئيس الهيئة التنفيذية في القوات اللبنانية سمير جعجع ان يقوم رئيس الوزراء اللبناني المكلّف سعد الحريري بزيارة الى دمشق قبل تشكيل الحكومة وتوقع ان يبدأ العمل بسرعة لتشكيل هذه الحكومة.
واعتبر جعجع في اتصال هاتفي مع وكالة رويترز ان زيارة الحريري الى دمشق "هي خطوة لن يكون لها اي نتائج ولن تؤدي الى اي مكان لا بل يمكن ان تؤدي الى نتائج سلبية أي الى احباط اضافي والى سوء في العلاقة بين البلدين لأن هكذا خطوة غير ناضجة".
واضاف: "انا اشك جداً ان تحصل ولا اعتقد ان هناك امكانية لحصولها لأنها ليست محضّرة وليس لها جدول اعمال ولم تشكّل الحكومة بعد. واتصور ان الرئيس المكلّف سعد الحريري اذا اراد الذهاب لن يذهب ليحلّ مشاكله... سيذهب ليحلّ مشاكل اللبنانيين مع سوريا ولتحقيق هذا الامر يجب ان تكون تشكلّت الحكومة ووُضع جدول اعمال لهكذا زيارة".

كلام خطير لوليد شقير، وهو واحد من أفضل المحلّلين اللبنانيين، عن إستعدادات عرب الإعتدال (والغرب؟) لـ"بيع" لبنان لنظام الديكتاتور السوري مقابل "إبتعاده" المزعوم عن إيران! وهذا في وقت يترنّح فيه النظام الإيراني بدون "جميلة" العرب والغرب. إذا صحّت المعلومات التالية، فهي ستدفع المواطن اللبناني للتساؤل لما اقترع لـ14 آذار إذا كانت تصويته سينتهي في "حكومة إميل لحّود"! اللبنانيون، أيضاً، يسألون: "أين صوتي"، على غرار شعب طهران العظيم!

كتب وليد شقير: تستند الدول الغربية والعربية التي انخرطت في اتصالات انفتاح وتطبيع مع سورية الى جملة إشارات تعتقد ان دمشق أطلقتها عن استعدادها الى أخذ مسافة عن ايران. فهذا ما يهم هذه الدول في هذه المرحلة، في سياق استعدادها هي الأخرى، لاستكشاف مدى جاهزية ايران لتسوية مع الغرب ومحيطها العربي، أو استمرار حال المواجهة معها، على ملفها النووي ونفوذها الإقليمي الذي تمادى في السنوات الأخيرة.

Few weeks after the Lebanese parliamentarian elections, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Council of Development and Reconstruction (CDR) launched the National Human Development Report for Lebanon (NHDR) entitled “Toward a Citizen’s State”. The launching ceremony, which took place on Tuesday 30 June 2009 at the Phoenicia Hotel, brought together an important number of ministers and parliamentarians including H.E Ibrahim Shamseddine, representing the President of the Republic General Michel Sleiman under whose auspices the ceremony was held. Cette censure idéologique, ou police de la parole, vise à empêcher de parler de tout ce qui ne rentre pas dans les grilles de l'idéologie, et qui sera dénoncé par le politiquement correct comme étant un dérapage. Paris Says Assad Talks Positively About Hariri, Veto Power Not Ideal

Syrian President Bashar Assad has expressed readiness to meet with Premier-designate Saad Hariri during talks with two top aides to French President Nicolas Sarkozy, a French source said.
The source told As Safir newspaper that Assad told Sarkozy's political chief of staff Claude Gueant and his chief diplomatic adviser Jean-David Levitte that he was ready to hold talks with Hariri in Damascus.
Official French sources also told pan-Arab daily al-Hayat that the Syrian president talked "positively" about the Lebanese prime minister-designate and President Michel Suleiman.

تسلم قاضي التحقيق العسكري فادي صوان ادعاء مفوض الحكومة لدى المحكمة العسكرية القاضي صقر صقر اليوم على ثلاثة موقوفين من جنسيات سورية ، كويتية وكازاخستانية ينتمون الى تنظيم القاعدة وآخر في عين الحلوة مجهول باقي الهوية وهم: سمير عبد اللطيف حجازي (سوري)، محمد عبدالله ناصر عبيد الدوسري ملقب ابو طلحة(كويتي)، محمد زاهامود امر الدين تباروف(كزاخستان)، احمد خالد الدرويش مجهول باقي الهوية في مخيم عين لحلوة. بأنهم في لبنان وسوريا وبتاريخ لم يمر عليه الزمن اقدموا بالاشتراك مع آخرين ممن يظهرهم التحقيق على تأليف عصابة سرية مرتبطة بتنظيم القاعدة وعقدوا اجتماعات عدة في سوريا وفي مخيم عين الحلوة مع مجموعات متطرفة مثل فتح الاسلام وجند الشام بهدف جمع الاموال والاسلحة والتحضير للقيام بأعمال ارهابية في لبنان وضد النظام في سوريا سندا الى المواد 335 عقوبات و5 و6 من قانون 11/1/1958 واحالهم الى قاضي التحقيق العسكري الاول رشيد مزهر للتحقيق معهم.

عقد المطارنة الموارنة إجتماعهم الشهري في بكركي اليوم، برئاسة البطريرك الماروني الكاردينال مار نصرالله بطرس صفير، وعرضوا شؤونا وطنية وكنسية.

Petraeus Holds Talks with Lebanese Officials on Boosting Army Capabilities

Gen. David Petraeus, the head of the U.S. military's Central Command, arrived in Beirut on Tuesday and went into talks with President Michel Suleiman.
U.S. Ambassador Michele Sison attended the meeting at Baabda palace which focused on boosting the army's defense and logistics capabilities.
The state-run National News Agency said Petraeus will hold talks with other Lebanese officials, including the defense minister and the army commander.

Roed-Larsen Lauds Damascus for Providing Positive Atmosphere During Lebanon Polls

U.N. Special Envoy Terje Roed-Larsen expressed optimism at recent developments in Lebanon and lauded Syria for providing a positive atmosphere during the Lebanese parliamentary elections last month.
"I am optimistic about latest developments on the Lebanese scene," pan-Arab daily al-Hayat quoted Roed-Larsen as saying.
"The legislative elections that were lately held early this month represent the cornerstone for consolidating Lebanon's sovereignty and political independence," U.N. chief Ban Ki-moon's envoy on the implementation of Security Council resolution 1559 reportedly said.

وصف البطريرك الماروني نصرالله صفير الأيام التي نعيشها بالصعبة، مشيرا الى ان لامور ليست على ما يرام. وشدد صفير امام وفد من أهالي بريح على ضرورة الاهتمام بملف المهجرين، معتبرا انه يجب ان يعود المهجرون الى أرضهم وبلداتهم.

رأى رئيس الرابطة السريانية حبيب افرام ان النظام السياسي اللبناني همش الأقليات، مشيرا الى ان هذا الأمر طعن بالدستور.
افرام، وفي مداخلة هاتفية عبر تلفزيون "LBC"، ناشد رئيس الجمهورية ألا يوقع أي مرسوم لحكومة لا تضم أقليات، كذلك ناشد رئيس الحكومة المكلف النائب سعد الحريري ان يتفهم التعدد اللبناني بكافة أطيافه، مطالبا كل القوى السياسية المسيحية ان ترفع الصوت لتمثيل الأقليات في الوزارة لتبرهن عن وحدة مسيحية وتدافع عن المذهبيات الصغيرة.

A 30-year-old mother was killed and six other people were wounded in overnight armed clashes in Beirut between supporters of Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and Mustaqbal Movement amidst a worrisome report on the presence of masked gunmen in the streets.
The daily An Nahar on Monday said facts showed the presence of masked gunmen, not only in the neighborhoods where fighting took place but also in their environs as well as other areas.

Inter-Christian Reconciliation Moving Slowly

The Christian-Christian reconciliation is proceeding at a slow pace. Despite the efforts of religious and non-religious leaders to bring Christian parties together and find common grounds, the reconciliation is still at a preliminary stage.
Informed sources told An Nahar daily that discussions have failed to set up a clear reconciliation agenda and were instead concentrating on national subjects and post elections phase.
Sources close to Marada movement said secret meetings held between the different Christian parties before the June parliamentary elections were to ensure the elections took place peacefully and calmly. "These meeting have succeeded in maintaining calm among Marada and Lebanese Forces supporters who live in common villages in north Lebanon," they added.

Lebanon Charges Qaida Suspects For Attack Plots

Lebanon's military prosecutor on Monday charged three suspects allegedly linked to Al-Qaida with planning terrorist attacks in Lebanon and Syria, a judicial source said. "Judge Saqr Saqr has charged the three people, none of whom are Lebanese, with forming a gang linked to Al-Qaida and preparing to carry out terrorist acts in Lebanon and against the regime in Syria," the source told Agence France Presse (AFP). The suspects were identified as Syrian national Samir Hijazi, Kuwaiti Mohammad Abdul Latif al-Dosari and Mohammad Zahamor bin Qamaruddin of Tajikistan.
